Soul Sounds is a dance/movement improvisation practice that explores the sounds and rhythms of the moving body.

Performers work through a series of states intended to explore or enhance bodily sounding and non-verbal voice, or their absence, and their relationship to each other and the rhythms they are making. Performers shift between a darkened atmosphere, intended to heighten their sounds and rhythmic relations, to a startling brightened atmosphere that they must cope with amid various states.
